How to make your home smell nice for the holidays

Christmas and New Years are coming.  Recently, we've tested an easy way to make the house smell great: we boiled a pot of water with cinnamon, couple of drops of orange essential oil, and some herbs.  

The smell was subtle but very nice.  We will definitely be doing more of that!
